The Morni Elephant Bridal Bangles Set is a gold-toned bridal bangle set with a peacock (morni) centrepiece, elephant motifs, flower medallions and rows of pearls. It comes as two matching stacks – one for each hand – for brides, wedding functions, Karwa Chauth and Diwali. Available in sizes 2.2, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 and 2.10.

The Design

At the heart of each stack is a broad centre kada with a round morni (peacock) medallion in deep blue-black colour work, framed by a ring of sparkling white stones. Elephants with red and green checked saddles walk around the kada between the medallions.

On both sides of the kada, the stack builds outward with:

  • Elephant-and-flower bangles – small elephants with mint-green and dark-blue detailing, alternating with flower medallions of white kundan-style petals and red stone centres
  • Pearl bangles on the outer edges, covered in clusters of tiny artificial pearls that soften and finish the look

The mix of red, green, blue and white against the gold-toned base gives the set a rich, royal bridal look.

How to Choose Your Size

These are rigid bangles, so please choose your size carefully. Measure the inner diameter of a bangle that already fits you comfortably, straight across the centre:

  • 2.2 – about 54 mm
  • 2.4 – about 57 mm
  • 2.6 – about 60 mm
  • 2.8 – about 64 mm
  • 2.10 – about 67 mm

Your wrist measurement alone is not enough, because the bangle has to pass over your knuckles. Broad, detailed bangles feel more fitted than thin ones, so if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one. Not sure? Message us your measurement before ordering and we'll help.

How to Style It

  • Red or maroon bridal lehenga or saree: the red saddles and stones pick up your outfit colour for a complete bridal look.
  • Green or peacock-blue outfit: the green and blue morni work ties the set to your outfit – lovely for Mehendi and Sangeet.
  • Silk saree: match the gold-toned finish to your zari border.
  • With other jewellery: this set is a strong statement. Pair it with a matching necklace or maang tika, and keep your earrings simpler if the neckline is heavy.
  • Sleeves: short or elbow sleeves show the morni kada best. With heavily embroidered sleeves, take care that the pearls don't catch on threadwork.

Care

Wear the bangles after perfume and makeup. Keep them away from water, sanitiser and sweat. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and store them in a dry box or on a bangle rod so the pearls, stones and enamel don't rub against other jewellery. Hold the bangles by the base, not by the pearls or motifs, and never force a bangle over your hand.
