The Pearl Maroon Bridal Chooda Set is a ready-to-wear bridal chooda in deep maroon, layered with pearl and kundan-style stone bangles and finished with hanging jhumki latkans. It is made for brides, the chooda ceremony, Karwa Chauth and the first festivals after marriage. Available in sizes 2.2, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 and 2.10.
The Design
Glossy maroon chooda bangles are layered between gold-toned bangles in different designs, so the stack looks rich and full:
- Kundan-style leaf bangles – rows of teardrop stones bordered with tiny pearls
- Pearl-and-stone bangles – round kundan-style stones with small pearl clusters between them
- Pearl flower bangles – raised clusters of pearls shaped like small flowers
- Outer edge bangles – pearl-cluster borders that frame both ends of the chooda
- Jhumki latkans – dome-shaped hanging jhumkis with stones and pearl drops, which move gently as you move your hands
Maroon with pearl-white and gold is a rich, royal bridal combination – a little deeper and more regal than classic red, and beautiful in wedding photos.

How to Choose Your Size
These are rigid bangles, so please choose your size carefully. Measure the inner diameter of a bangle that already fits you comfortably, straight across the centre:
- 2.2 – about 54 mm
- 2.4 – about 57 mm
- 2.6 – about 60 mm
- 2.8 – about 64 mm
- 2.10 – about 67 mm
Your wrist measurement alone is not enough, because the bangle has to pass over your knuckles. A chooda is worn as a full stack, so if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one. Not sure? Message us your measurement before ordering and we'll help.
How to Style It
- Maroon or wine bridal lehenga: the chooda matches your outfit for a rich, coordinated bridal look.
- Red lehenga: maroon adds depth next to red – a tonal look that feels royal rather than flat.
- Pastel, ivory or gold lehenga: the deep maroon becomes a striking contrast for modern brides.
- Karwa Chauth: wear it with a maroon or red saree or suit for the full traditional look.
- With other jewellery: pair with pearl or kundan-style earrings and a maang tika so the whole look feels connected.
- Kaleere: kaleere can hang from the outer bangles if you wear them.
Care
Wear the chooda after mehendi has fully dried, and after perfume and makeup. Keep it away from water, sanitiser and sweat. Hold the bangles by the base, not by the pearls or latkans. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and store the set in a dry box so the pearls and stones don't rub against other jewellery. Never force a bangle over your hand.
