The Design

The kurta has a small notched neckline and a rounded yoke, outlined with a border of zari, sequin and mirror work embroidery. Small sequin buttis are scattered across the yoke and sleeves, and the same embroidered border finishes the three-quarter sleeve cuffs. Below the yoke, the kurta falls into soft gathered pleats for an easy, flowing shape.

The dupatta is woven with wide rusty-orange and shimmering tissue stripes, finished with delicate tassels.
